Eetbaar Landschap

In the summer of 2009 Moerenburg was the workplace for 6 artists/designers. On invitation of Ester van der Wiel they worked on the project Eatable Landscape and developed tools to taste the landscape. Maaike Bertens made a picnic place and a dinner set.

The picknickplace is situated in the trees at 6 m high and gives an overview of this specific area. The dinner set and table textiles are inspired on the buildings underground and the history of this spot.

This dinner set and picnic place were used for special dinners during the harvest celebration.
